What is NWEEG?
The North West Employee Experience Group (NWEEG) will be back for 2023 with the vision to encourage and help businesses across the North West of England to engage better with their staff, their customers and their stakeholders.
The Group, founded in 2014, is the only employee engagement group that connects HR professionals and business leaders with engagement specialists and peers, who are faced with similar challenges and obstacles of effectively engaging their people each day.
The overarching purpose of this group is simply to help make the North West of England the very best place to work. We do this by presenting evidence, skills and real-life practical experiences of how business leaders have successfully engaged with their teams and subsequently improved their businesses as a result.
More than 4,000 business professionals are members of the group, which organises and facilitates events and two full-day conferences. Additional Special Interest Groups and virtual NWorkshops are held throughout the year, all across the North West, to guide people through specific topics regarding employee engagement issues.
It has over 4000 members with combined revenues exceeding £1 billion and more than 1 million employees. If we can help influence the working lives of that many people, we’re well on the way to achieving our vision.”

Do I have to attend each event? No you can attend what you want, or you can send a colleague (or sub), or you don’t have to send anyone. Everyone will get slides, and some will be recorded so you can watch the event afterwards.
Is food included? Yes, food and refreshments are included except for virtual events. You can have a brew with us, but you’ll have to make it.
Can I pay monthly? No I’m afraid not, we tried it before and it was an admin nightmare.
Can I have a discount? No, everybody pays the same price. It’s fairer like that.
Is it a networking event? NWEEG is perfect for: Networking, Career Development, Sharing Your Expertise, Unpicking Problems and Expanding Your Knowledge Base! So no, its not a traditional Networking event, its much more than that.
Where will events be located? All across North West of England.The March conference will be held in East Lancashire.
Will they be Covid Safe? All venues and NWEEG take this and attendees’ health and wellbeing very seriously. We will update you before the event.
Who are Anthem? They are the company who administer and host events. They founded this Group in 2014. They’ve been going for 20 years and they are an engagement consultancy. You can find more about them on this webpage. (click the logo top left)
